On Thursday, August 21 at approximately 2:00 p.m., LCFC along with 89 Ambulance (Elverson-Honeybrook EMS) were alerted to the area of Conestoga Road and Moores Road for an accident. Seconds after the initial dispatch, information was received by the Chester County 911 Center that the occupant of one vehicle was trapped and the incident was then upgraded to an accident with entrapment. As units went enroute they were advised of a two vehicle accident and that the occupant had now self extricated. Assistant 73 (Tryniszewski) and Battalion 73(Senn) both arrived simultaneously and confirmed the report. 73 QRS evaluated the patients and 73 Fire Police controlled traffic around the scene. Rescue 73 arrived and assisted with hazard mitigation and traffic control. units were on scene for approximately 1 hour.
