On 3/19, LCFC volunteers were dispatched to cover Station 64 (Norco) for a brush fire on Cherry Hill Lane in North Coventry Township while they operated at another brush fire in their local. Brush 73 went enroute and was advised of a small brush fire spreading into the trees. Lieutenant 62 arrived and confirmed the report. Brush 73 arrived and worked to extinguish the fire with the help of Engine 62-2. Both 73&62 units cleared and went to assist with the brush fire on St Peter’s Road.
During this call, Engine 73-5 was due to assist the brush fire on Cherry Hill but was deemed not needed. They were diverted to assist on the brush fire on St Peter’s Road. Brush 73 arrived and worked to extinguish fire and hot spots around the outside of the fire. Engine 73-5’s crew assisted in extinguishing and overhauling the fire. Brush 73 was supplied by Engine 64-5. Engine 73-5 supplied Engine 64-5 with it’s tank water. 73 units were released by command and returned to quarters
