LCFC Volunteers along with Uwchlan Ambulance were dispatched to the 1900 block of Pottstown Pike in East Nantmeal Township for an auto accident with entrapment. MICU 2-87, QRS 73 and Chief 73 all went enroute after dispatch and were advised of one car on it’s side with the driver trapped. QRS 73 and Chief 73 arrived first and confirmed the report of one car on it’s side with entrapment. Chief 73 established Route 100 command. Rescue 73 arrived and the crew split up to stabilize the vehicle while the rest of the crew worked to get the hydraulic tools ready to go in service. Crews worked to “flap the roof” to gain access to the patient. Once access was gained the crew from MICU 2-87 accessed the patient. Fire Polie closed Route 100N at Fairview Road. Crews returned to quarters 1 hour after dispatch.
