On 3/25/23 at approximately 12:00 P.M., LCFC along with mutual aid from Lionville Fire Co. (47) and Glenmoore Fire Co. (48) were dispatched to the unit block of Buck Dr. in Upper Uwchlan for a reported house fire. Chief and Deputy 73 responded and were advised by the Chester County fire board that there was a reported fire in the bathroom. Within 3 minutes, one of LCFC’s QRS member/firefighter arrived on scene and assisted the home owner in extinguishing the fire. At this time, the fire was reported to be out with a smoke condition inside. With this information, Chief 73 downgraded the assignment to just LCFC units and recalled the balance. Engine 73-1 and Engine 73-2 arrived and set up ventilation and checked for extension to the second floor. Units cleared within 1 hour.
