Around 4:45 p.m. on Monday evening, LCFC Volunteers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Pottstown Pike for a car fire. Assistant 47, who was passing by, and West Vincent PD arrived prior Chief and Deputy 73 and advised of a working car fire. Engine 73-2 arrived first and stretched a handline to extinguish the fire. Engine 73-1 arrived behind 73-2 and setup a supply line setup to feed 73-2 more water. The crew from 73-1 also assisted in extinguishing and overhaul. Tanker 73 arrived behind 73-1 and stood by as needed. Crews returned to quarters after about 30 minutes.
