At 8:14 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, LCFC along with Station 62 (Ridge Fire Company), Station 64 (Norco Fire Company), and Montco Station 51 (Limerick Fire Department) were dispatched to the 1400 block of Prizer Road in East Nantmeal Township for the reported house fire. Initial reports were fire coming from the second floor.

Chief 73 arrived on-scene first and established Prizer Road command. At this time, Chief 73 advised county that this was a chimney fire and downgraded the assignment. The assignment was held to Station 73. Crews from Engine 73-2 and Engine 73-1 cleared the chimney box and utilized chains and brushes to work to clear the chimney flue. Crews were on-scene for a little over 1.5 hours before clearing.
