On Friday night, LCFC began it's mission to reclaim the annual Goshen Fair Tug-O-War championship. West Whiteland Fire Company was the defending champion, having defeated LCFC back in 2019. In the semi-final match-up Friday night, LCFC took on Edgmont Fire Company from Delaware County. As soon as the boat horn sounded, LCFC went to work. The LCFC crew took the early momentum and never looked back, claiming the victory in approximately twenty seconds. West Whiteland Fire Company also was victorious Friday night in their semi-final match-up. This meant that the championship pull on Saturday night would be a rematch from 2019. On Saturday night, in what the crew knew would be a difficult pull, LCFC again took the momentum early on. The crew from West Whiteland put up a tremendous fight, but in the end the crew from LCFC was victorious. The championship pull lasted approximately one minute and 15 seconds. Congratulations to the following members for their efforts on Friday and Saturday night in helping LCFC recapture the title: David Cook, Tyler Eachus, Stevie Senn, Craig Soden, Nick LoManto, Dave Gondy, Nick Giugliano, Tommy Crockett, Brandon Casto, Matt Fischer, and Ross Trego. |
