House fire on Warwick Furnace Road

On Sunday, 2/21/21, LCFC along with mutual aid were dispatched to the 1400 block of Warwick Furnace Road for a reported house fire. Deputy 73 and Assistant 73 responded immediately and were advised by the 911 center that the outside of the house was on fire and the homeowner was attempting to extinguish the fire. Assistant 73, Deputy 73, Engine 73-2, Engine 62-5 and Engine 62-2 arrived nearly simultaneously. Assistant 73 established Warwick Furnace Command and confirmed the report stating the fire was extinguished and scaled back the response to units out of Ridge and Ludwigs Corner. Crews carried tools and water cans up to the scene and worked simultaneous inside and outside checking for extension into the residence. Arriving a short time later were Rescue 73, Engine 73-1 and Tanker 73. After roughly one half hour, crews cleared the scene. 17 LCFC Volunteers responded to this incident.
