| At 10:18 p.m., LCFC and Uwchlan Ambulance were dispatched to the intersection of Route 100 and Black Horse Road for a two-vehicle accident. QRS 73 was the first to arrive on the scene, finding a head-on collision that blocked the northbound lane. In addition, a fallen tree was fully blocking the southbound lane. QRS 73 immediately began assisting with patient care.
Chief 73 arrived on scene, established Route 100 Command, and requested that Route 100 be closed from Conestoga Road to Fellowship Road. Upon arrival, the crew from Rescue 73 assisted with controlling fluid and hazards and worked to cut up the tree and clear the southbound lane.
The roadway reopened approximately one hour after dispatch, and crews returned to the station. |
