LCFC takes delivery of new command vehicle

This past Wednesday evening, the Ludwigs Corner Fire Co. took delivery of our 2020 Silverado - Trail boss, command vehicle. This vehicle was donated by Patriot Chevrolet of Limerick.

This vehicle offers the ability for our Fire Chief to respond directly to incidents using a company-owned vehicle outfitted with several safety components and features. These are:
-Red/white emergency lights @ 360 degrees around the vehicle
-Siren with intersection attention capability
-A well designed reflective graphics package 360 degrees around the vehicle
-A custom front-center console which holds our county radio, portable radio mount, and county issued MDC/MDT (computer), map book storage, personal light, Thermal imaging camera, and gas meter
-Bed cover
-A custom bed unit/box with 2 large pull out drawers for storage of various equipment including an fully outfitted SCBA unit, small hand tools, side storage and space for turn out gear storage to keep gear out of the cab
