On Monday evening, LCFC took a break from weekly training to recognize and celebrate Firefighter Michael Daulerio. In December, Daulerio graduated from DeSales University with his sights set on becoming an officer in the United States Army. Currently, Daulerio serves as a 2nd Lieutenant in the PA National Guard while also volunteering his time at LCFC.

In less than one week, Daulerio begins his journey to achieve his lifelong goal as he heads to Fort Benning, Georgia, to go through four months of Officer Candidate School. Immediately after this, Daulerio will head to United States Army Ranger School and then finally to Airborne School. Once completed with these intensive and grueling trainings, Daulerio will be officially transferred to active duty as an officer in the United States Army and will be stationed at a location to be determined.

Firefighter Daulerio has shown great dedication to the company since joining at the age of 14. He will be greatly missed by all of us at LCFC and we wish him the best of luck in his career in the United States Army. There is no doubt that Daulerio will make a great officer and will make all of us proud at LCFC.
